Spoke and Food cycles in on Tuesday night | Community Spirit
Title (Max 100 Charaters)
Tuesday will be a great night to hop on your bike and head to a favorite restaurant. You would be helping out a great cause, too!
Spoke and Food is bringing together a number of restaurants around the city to promote bicycling and help out Solid Ground’s Lettuce Link program. If you bike to a participating restaurant on Tuesday, they will donate 15-20 percent of their proceeds to Lettuce Link, which people with low incomes get better access to fresh and organic foods, seeds and gardening information.
The participating restaurants listed on the Spoke and Food website include:
- The Hi-Life, The Stepping Stone and Snoose Junction Pizzeria in Ballard
- Louisa’s Café & Bakery in Eastlake
- Dad Watson’s in Fremont
- Barking Dog Alehouse and Naked City Brewery & Taphouse in Greenwood
- Mulleady’s Irish Pub in Magnolia
- Montlake Alehouse in Montlake
- The Scarlet Tree in Ravenna/Green Lake
- Blue Star Café & Pub and Cantinetta in Wallingford
- Porterhouse in West Seattle
- Fiddler’s Inn in Wedgewood
You can get on Spoke and Food’s website for more info, or just show up on your bike at one of the restaurants listed and have a great dinner while helping improve access to healthier foods.
